"Pigeons. (1)" is the second episode of season 1.

Plot

As the mayor deals with a blackmailer who took pictures of him with the hooker, unaware that one of his goons is an undercover detective, a golf ball hits a sleeping Phil's nest as he believes it to be an egg he laid. He joins his friend Mike and Mike's wife Megan to their son Jacob's Little Flyers Club where Mike is challenged to race to the Green Lady with the Ice Cream Thingy by Jerry, a pigeon from New Jersey. Meanwhile two caterpillars named Alan and Brian respectively, deal with one of their metamorphosis.

Trivia

• The fourth wall was broken twice:
  • During the opening credits where "title" appeared with an arrow pointing at the episode's title, than a "box" appeared around the said title with "bounding box" appearing with an arrow pointing to it, and "edge of frame" appearing with the arrow that happens to point outside of the frame.
  • During the end credits, Bartholomew is doing a commercial in an attempt to sell steroids, and in the moment the microphone is briefly seen, and than he asks the viewers to text him instead of calling him 'cause the authorities might track him down.
• On a bulletin board in the private investigator's apartment, there's a note that shows the mayor has connections within the police department, one of officers on it is Sgt. M. Luciano.
